NQ Exploration Inc./Carheil Project: Silver Zones Confirmed and GOLD-SILVER Zone Discovered at Depth

Marketwire.com - Apr 7, 2011

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 7, 2011) - NQ Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NQE) is pleased to report new drill results for the exploration program on its Carheil project, along with the discovery of a gold-rich zone at a vertical depth of 600 metres that returned up to 11.75 g/t gold.

NQ Exploration has just received the results of holes CA2011-012 and CA2011-13, the third and fourth holes of its drilling program, which confirm the continuity of the silver zones. The highlight of these results is the discovery of a new gold zone with associated silver and zinc in Hole CA2011-013, which had the deepest pierce point drilled on the property. This is a gold-rich zone almost 50 metres long that contains a 14-metre section grading 2.06 g/t Au, 20.3 g/t Ag and 0.3% Zn, including a higher-grade section of 3.74 g/t Au, 38.8 g/t Ag and 0.5% Zn over 6.2 metres (all significant grades are shown in a table). This intersection is associated with a strongly silicified rhyolite tuff within the hydrothermal alteration chimney containing the silver zones, but more toward the centre of the chimney. Hole CA2010-09, drilled last year, already indicated gold enrichment in this area, with a grade of 2.55 g/t Au, 15.5 g/t Ag and 1.08% Zn over 2 metres (see longitudinal and cross sections).

As reported in the last press release dated March 23, 2011, the Ag1 silver zone continues to return good results. The new results also confirm that another, lower-grade, multi-metric-sized silver zone called the Ag1aa zone lies above it. Hole CA2011-12 indicates that the zone narrows in this area, as suggested by Hole CA2011-10, drilled 50 metres higher up. Hole CA2011-13 intersected the Ag1 zone over 28.45 metres, returning a average grade of 35.2 g/t Ag containing 0.5% Zn, with an enrichment zone of 88.3 g/t Ag, 0.7% Zn and 0.43 g/t Au over 5.15 metres.

1Lengths indicated are core lengths. With the actual knowledge, true thicknesses vary from 70 to 80 % of the core length. But with the new information, and the lack of complete data, we prefer not to indicate true thicknesses until all data is entirely integrated and interpreted.

These results confirm the diversity of the Nordest showing, which hosts the zones of high-grade silver with small quantities of other metals, as well as a NEW zone with high GOLD grades and high silver content at a vertical depth of 600 metres and open along strike and at depth.

The last four holes of the program were drilled to test the mineralized felsic units at a vertical depth of 100 to 450 metres, to improve the understanding of the mineralized structure nearer surface.

A total of 4,950 metres were drilled during the program, which ended on March 23. The Company expects to receive all the results by mid-May, when they will be compiled and interpreted to direct the next drilling program on this showing, which will be aimed at outlining a silver-gold precious metals resource with associated base metals.

A ground geophysical survey will also be conducted on the property to identify additional drill targets on this excellent property of over 47.7 km(2), wholly owned by NQ Exploration Inc. This gravity survey will also cover part of the Brouillan property, held under option from Arianne Resources.

All assays were performed by the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val-d'Or. The samples are assayed using two methods: 1 – for gold, first by fire assay with AA finish, then for results over 1 g/t rerun by fire assay with gravity finish; 2 – for 35 elements using ICP (ME-ICP41), then, for results over 100 ppm silver or 10,000 ppm Cu/Mo/Pb/Zn, rerun using the ore grade method (OG46) with aqua regia digestion and ICP-AES or AAS finish.

Pierre O'Dowd, geologist and Vice President, Exploration of NQ Exploration, has reviewed the technical content of this press release. Mr. O'Dowd is a qualified person under Regulation 43-101 respecting standards of disclosure for mineral projects.
