Construction spending ticks up |

U.S. construction spending ticked up in November for the fourth consecutive month, but remained substantially below comparable 2009 levels.
Construction rose to $810.2 billion in November, but remained 6 percent below the November 2009 level of $861.5 billion, according to seasonally-adjusted figures released Monday by the U.S. Census Bureau.
The lodging industry, which dropped more than 48 percent to $9.6 billion in November, had the largest fall of any category.
