Corning stock tumbles after 2010 forecast |

Investors in Corning Inc. evidently did not hear what they wanted to hear Friday from top management.
Shares of the Corning, one of the leading makers of LCD glass for television and computers, fell as much as 7% despite a generally favorable forecast for 2010.
In a statement released Friday before Corning's annual investor conference in New York, the company did not offer specific targets for sales or earnings per-share, disappointing investors who wanted more detailed guidance.
Corning stock last traded at $17.50, down 75 cents.
